Facebook team has released an app called Lasso (video app) that lets users create fun, short videos. Its similar like TikTok, lasso is clearly competitor ,Tiktik which the large social media platform has lost its hold over. In 2018,
only half of public say they still use Facebook, compared to in 2014, when 71 percent of them said they did. The app was firstly reported as in development in end of October.
Lasso is currently available in the US on Android and iOS
It allows you to create short videos with filters and special effects similar to TikTok
TikTok recently merged with Musical.ly to create a unified app with over 500 million monthly active users.
